Roebuck Basin Regional Geology

The discovery of oil and gas-condensate in the Bedout Sub-basin at Phoenix South and Roc are recent exploration successes in the otherwise underexplored Roebuck Basin. The existence of an active petroleum system has been proven in the Bedout Sub-basin and future production is likely. Gross 2C contingent resources at these discoveries, together with historical discovery at Phoenix, are 332 Bscf (9.40 Gm3) of gas, 20 MMbl (3.18 GL) of condensate, and 31 MMbl (4.93 GL) of light oil (Carnarvon Petroleum Ltd, 2016a).
